The core of ACT Specialty Chemicals is the development of products and chemical programs for waste water treatment and the challenges associated with waste water. Our goal is to assist our customers in staying within compliance with state and local officials in the most cost efficient way possible. Our products are effective in the reduction and removal of: TSS, Oil & Grease, BOD, COD, Color and Heavy Metals. We pride ourselves on being a company based on research and development, not marketing of the same few products over and over. Each situation is different and we treat it as such. We don’t try to stick a “square peg in a round hole.”
We start by conducting on-site evaluations and bench testing to determine the best product, or products, at the lowest overall cost. This is followed by a plant trial under a “no work, no pay” agreement. This means, quite simply that if we recommend a product and it does not perform up to your expectations in the trial run, then you do not pay us, no questions asked. We have extreme confidence that if given an opportunity, we can prove ourselves to be a valuable supplier and partner.
